Time is relative
What do you see?
For a baby of six months, one month seems forever as it is one 6th of his life yet for an adult the month passes quickly as, relative to his time on this planet, it is only a small fraction. Although we believe that we share the same timeframe, time itself is different for each and every one of us. Only the canvas on which events are played out on is constant.
If for one month an adult takes a six month old baby on holiday, this is one sixth of the babys life on the planet and therefore seems to last forever. For the adult, it is only one month of many years and so passes relatively quickly. That is why time passes faster and faster as people get older compared to the time they have been on this planet.
