To mark the significance of World Aids Day, Adot, in Partnership with Outernet London, were delighted to host the 20th Anniversary celebration of Mothers2mothers (m2m). The star-studded gala paid homage to those supporters who have collectively raised transformational funds for this hugely worthy cause.
The event shone light on the power of female frontline health workers, (Mentor Mothers), living with HIV who are employed across sub-Saharan Africa. This evening celebrated the impact of togetherness, highlighting the exceptional steps being made to improve the health and well-being of women, whilst uplifting, guiding, and inspiring those affected within their communities. These powerful women demonstrate that a healthier more equitable world is possible.
Leading the proceedings on this commemorative occasion was newly appointed Ambassador Sabrina Elba. Our Mothers2mothers event has been gratefully supported by presenting partners Gucci and CHIME FOR CHANGE. Sponsors Flexjets, Farfetch and Johnson & Johnson, with special thanks to a phenomenal Host Committee and everyone who came to show their support.
Special performances came for m2m dedicated Patron, Annie Lennox OBE and her daughter Lola, Paloma Faith, and the Kingdom Choir. (Watch Annie and Lola Lennox’s performance below).
