Adot supports IFFB – Israeli Independent Film Festival in Berlin

ADOT are very excited and proud to support IFFB – Israeli Independent Film Festival in Berlin – taking place on 20-23 March 2014. The Berlin-based film festival encompasses a four-day extravaganza, showcasing a colourful mix of short and long documentaries and fiction features, reflecting the true creativity and diversity of the Israeli independent film scene.

Festival visitors will also be treated to a viewing of the healing-hand.org short film ‘The Affair’, created by Dan Nathan and Ajab Singh.

The feature sets out to ask the question ‘What Do You See?’, challenging us to examine how we see the world around us and prompting us to change our perspectives. For those who can’t attend the festival, the healing-hand.org movie is also available in the gallery section of our website and on Vimeo, https://vimeo.com/89001593.

We at Adot believe focusing on differences in each other sits at the root of discrimination and conflict, and that a shift in perspectives to acknowledging the similarities we all share is necessary in order for us to connect and for peace to prevail. We believe creative expression can be a true force for progressive change in the world, as art has the potential to provoke thought and prompt action. We actively support a variety of creative artists and organisations which nurture cultural growth and we are delighted to add IFFB to this mix, due to their admirable work in supporting creative talent on the film scene in Israel.
