This Christmas, Adot is once again supporting the charitable annual initiative “Christmas Together”. This wonderful event, hosted by The Tope Project, usually involves a Christmas dinner for between 150-200 care home leavers and vulnerable young people, as they believe that no one should be forgotten at Christmas. “Christmas Together” takes place on the 25th of December and aims to combat the loneliness felt by those young people living in or leaving foster care without a family of their own. The holiday season can be an especially difficult time of year for care leavers and every year The Tope Project goes above and beyond to make sure these young adults have a memorable and loving Christmas. This year, they have partnered with Hillsong, to deliver even more festive cheer to those who need it most.
Due to the ongoing Covid-19 restrictions, the event will look somewhat different this year, however they are still on track is still to provide care leavers with an unparalleled Christmas experience. Christmas Hampers will be being delivered to attendees across London to their homes and combined with a fun-packed online programme that offers a warm, friendly and care-free environment for care leavers on Christmas Day. The hampers will be delivered on Christmas Eve and will include a traditional Christmas dinner prepared by a number of top chefs, that they will be able to put together themselves at home along with an assortment of gifts to open on Christmas Day. These young people will be able to feel loved and supported, something that everyone should feel at Christmas.
