Adot is proud to be collaborating with Cards for Care for Project Love is One.
Cards for Care started as a small passion project during the March lockdown, with the aim to spread kindness to care home residents who may have felt isolated and alone during the height of the pandemic. Children made personalised cards to remind elderly residents that they are loved and important.
The initiative proved so popular that schools and individuals across the UK expressed their interest in becoming involved and now it has grown into a full scale operation, which unifies the generations through messages of love. Cards of Care’s Festive Season initiative was able to reach 207 care homes, with an awe-inspiring total of almost 11,000 cards lovingly made by school children across the country.
We at Adot wanted to help Cards for Care continue their amazing work and have joined forces to create Project Love is One. With Valentine’s Day occurring in the midst of yet another national lockdown, we want to remind those in residential care that we are constantly sending them love and they are constantly in our thoughts. School children and individuals will be getting creative at home to send cards and spread joy to those who really need it.
If you would like to get involved in Project Love is One and send your own cards, please email info@adot.com for all the details.
