ADOT sponsored the Amy Winehouse Foundation Gala and Inspirational Awards that took place at the iconic Waldorf Astoria in New York City.
At the core of this very special evening were the two greatest passions of Amy Winehouse: music and children. The awards celebrate some of the most talented musicians in the business, who inspire people worldwide every day through their incredible skill. The artists honoured on the 21st included Tony Bennett, Nas, SaLaAM ReMi, and Elhadj “Moe” Kane. Beyond the celebration of such incredible talent, this event meant a great deal to Adot because of the cause that lies at the heart of all of the Amy Winehouse Foundation’s projects.
Through the practice of music education and music therapy, and providing education and information to prevent the effects of drug and alcohol misuse, the Foundation serves to support vulnerable and disadvantaged young people to reach their full potential. At Adot, we are committed to the continual education of the great similarities in humans all around the world, and the loving and charitable nature that this inspires. We are continually impressed with the Amy Winehouse Foundation’s commitment to helping those people less fortunate through an understanding that drug and alcohol misuse can happen to people from all walks of life, and it is an honour for us to be able to support such a cause. All of the funds raised from the Gala and the Inspirational Awards will be used to fund the Foundation’s laudable projects.
